Welcome to Pilot in Education

Newspapers in Education is a cooperative effort of newspapers working with local schools to encourage the use of the newspaper as a tool for instruction and to promote literacy. Under the program, The Virginian-Pilot sponsors digital newspapers for teachers to use in their classrooms.

One order provides digital access to The Virginian-Pilot seven days a week from school and from home. Pilot-NIE reaches students where they live - in an increasingly digital world.

To find out how to participate in the program, call Debbie Bellucci at 757-446-2012 or Debbie.Bellucci@pilotonline.com.
